It all started when I was young, I developed a love for hats, I like to wear them and see people wearing them, then I had ideas of adding things to them to make them unique.
I personally own over fifty hats and love to create new one off looks.
People then started to ask if I would make them one and so the idea to share on the internet started and I to sell to you and share my love for hats.
24.3.18 - This has now progressed to accessories, such as: gloves, headbands, bow-ties, neck-ties, masks, cufflinks, rings and bookmarks
Ceramics
My love of pottery started at school, but I didn't realise it until 2022!
I tried a pottery experience, I took to it straight away, loved the feel of the clay, the feeling of being lost in what is happening in fromnt of you. I then gave it another three goes, to check if it was something I really wanted to get started, as it is such an expensive hobby.2024 I did a short pottery course and started to but clay to make things at home in my kitchen. I purchased my second proper pottery wheel, a table top shimpo. November 2024 I purchased a kiln, the Ikon v46.
I then realised the wheel I had needed to be sturdier, April 2025, I bought a shimpo RK-3E. tried different clays learnt through many errors and still learning, and can see the progress I have been making.
i continue to work in my kitchen, with adaptations to cupboards and storage in other areas too. The kiln is in my kiln room (the old coal shed), along with many many things I have purchased along with glazes.
I love to work with clay, very therapeutic, give it a try.
